
World Alliance – Africa Roundtable Meets in Frankfurt
In parallel to the wider program at Sibos 2025, the Africa Roundtable of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers convened in Frankfurt, gathering representatives from key African financial hubs and strategic partners.
Members and invited guests walked from the Messe venue to TechQuartier, where the meeting was hosted. The session focused on joint opportunities to elevate African financial centers on the global stage and to reinforce intercontinental cooperation.

Discussions centered on several shared priorities:
- Enhancing investment flows across African markets
- Positioning financial centers as gateways for regional and global investors
- Supporting innovation in fintech, digital finance, and regulatory modernization
- Strengthening collaboration within the WAIFC Africa Chapter
The exchanges highlighted the momentum of the continent’s financial ecosystem and the importance of collective representation within the international network. Participants also discussed follow-up actions and the alignment of milestones with the WAIFC’s broader agenda.
