World Alliance to Convene in Busan for 2026 General Assembly

The World Alliance is pleased to announce that its next General Assembly will take place in Busan from September 14 to 17, 2026.

This major annual gathering will bring together financial centers from across the globe, reaffirming the Alliance’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation, fostering dialogue, and addressing the evolving challenges shaping the future of global finance.

All member financial centers are expected to attend this important milestone event, which will serve as a platform for strategic discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among leading global financial hubs.

The General Assembly will be graciously hosted by Busan Finance Center, providing a dynamic setting for high-level exchanges and forward-looking initiatives.

In parallel, the event will also host the Young Academy Award 2026, a distinguished moment dedicated to academic excellence. During this session, the three selected laureates will present their research papers, contributing valuable insights to the Alliance’s ongoing work and reinforcing the link between academic research and financial practice.
