The Cape of Good Hope is a symbol of the opening of new sea routes during the Age of Discovery and the door to the future. Going forward from the "inflection point" that marked a major step forward for Tokyo as an international financial city last year, we will explore "new sea routes" that will pave the way for the future of Tokyo as an international financial city.
Since its establishment in April 2019, the general incorporated association Tokyo International Finance (FinCity.Tokyo) has been working with the public and private sectors together to realize Tokyo as an international financial city.
This sixth event will bring together experts from Japan and abroad to discuss what is needed to further enhance Tokyo's value as a global financial city. The event will delve into three key themes that are essential to the further development of Tokyo's financial center: ideas for implementing GX strategies from asset management, supporting the sustainable growth of startup companies, and the development of the wealth management sector, including family offices.
In addition, in collaboration with the side events "ABAC Sustainable Finance Seminar" to be held the previous day and "Tokyo Asset Management Forum" to be held the same day, FinCity.Tokyo will provide a forum for in-depth discussion with stakeholders in the asset management field. We sincerely hope that these two days will be a meaningful opportunity to incorporate diverse perspectives from both Japan and overseas toward the future of Japan's financial markets.
